When Christina contacted me for maternity photographs, I started by going through the usual “spiel,” until we got to the record-scratching moment: She was 37 weeks. Yipes!
Since plenty of women go early (especially with their second child – I went at 37 weeks with Gavin), I knew we needed to do her session, like, yesterday. So we made it work and squeezed it in.
So here’s the deal. Not only was Christina totally glowing {and no way would I have ever guessed she was 37 weeks!}, but that wall of windows really set the stage. I normally am so drawn to warm, colorful images, but as I was editing these I couldn’t help but be drawn to the black and whites. Classic beauty.
Can you believe we were outside for about half the session… in December… in Wisconsin?! Craziness. Such an adorable family.
And big brother… are you kidding me with that amazing hair and those eyes?! Yowza.
Oh, and that light fixture? I might have been a little obsessed. A little.
Another black and white? I don’t mind if I do! I absolutely adore this one. He just wanted to snuggle with his mama.
